Description

Inland Spool-to-Spool Filament Winder (Creality Compatible)

Cheap cardboard spools easily get dented, crushed, and deformed during shipping or handling. When sitting on a standard roller, these dents cause snatchy, uneven movements that jerk the extruder, leading to friction, under-extrusion, or a catastrophic rat's nest of tangled filament mid-print.

This custom, 4-piece assembly designed in SOLIDWORKS completely minimizes this risk. It allows you to flawlessly respool your filament from cheap cardboard onto a rugged, perfectly round Microcenter Inland plastic spool using your printer's existing frame.

 precisely engineered pieces:

  1. The Core Shaft (Inner Sleeve): Slides directly into the printer's existing spool mounting location.
  2. The Locking Collet (Outer Sleeve): Features robust threads to mate with the inner sleeve, locking the shaft assembly securely to the printer frame.
  3. The Drive Adapter: Slides over the newly installed 2-piece shaft, locking into place to bridge the rotation.
  4. The Winder Handle: Features an integrated knurled tip for maximum finger grip, ensuring smooth, effortless rotation without hand fatigue.
