I adapted a FIAMMA TURBO VENT F PREMIUM fan to the SEITZ 400x400 rooflight of my converted van.

The fan measures 350x350mm and the interior clear opening of the rooflight is 380x380mm.

Installing the assembly requires opening the rooflight to the middle position (which can be locked). The fan must be inserted diagonally because the blackout blind / mosquito net protrudes a few mm into the rooflight's clear opening. Once in place, both sides of the blind must be folded back so that the ventilation unit rests on the handles.

IMPORTANT: The fan must be removed when the vehicle is in motion.

Since the assembly is mobile, I replaced the original cable with a longer one equipped with a "cigarette lighter" type plug.

The prototype is made of PLA, but if summer heat deforms the frame, an ABS solution will be necessary.

Let me know what you think
