Description

Hi everyone,

Please allow me to share with you the handguard I made for my G&G CM16 SRS.

I have had my SRS for quite a while now but after playing some events I noticed I wanted a longer handguard. Since I could not find 2nd hand SRXL or SRL handguard, I decided to make my own! Mind you, this is my second ever 3D model. I am still getting the hand of it in the free online version of Sketchup.

Measurements:

The measurements are the following:

  • Length: 343mm
  • Outer width (opening, left to right): 51.6mm
  • Inner width (opening, left to right): 41.6mm
  • Outer height (opening, top to bottom): 55mm
  • Inner height (opening, top to bottom): 45mm
  • Picatinny rail: higher 5mm - lower 4mm
  • Keymod: 18.5mm opening, 2.5mm spacing between openings.
  • Screws: 3x countersunk M3.5mm x 5mm

The accompanied file settings were printed with black Tinmorry PETG GF (glass fiber) and their own config settings

You could optimize supports a little more since the weight is almost the same as the model itself. Please notify me if you have any recommendations.
