Description

Type a name, pick two colors, print. This parametric generator creates clean FLUSH INLAY name tags and keychains where the letters sit perfectly level with the plate — a real two-color result, WITH OR WITHOUT AMS. 

Each tag prints in roughly 15–25 min, flat on the plate, no supports.

 

Why this generator? 
Most name tag generators give you raised text or rely on AMS color swaps. This one has a true inlay mode: recessed letter pockets in the base plate plus matching letter inserts you print separately and press (or glue) in. The result is a flush, professional two-color tag — even on a single-extruder printer.

Inlay Mode

Inlay mode creates recessed pockets in the base plate and matching letter inserts.
You can print the plate and letters in different colors and press or glue the letters into place.

Recommended fit_gap values:

  • 0.05 mm for accurate printers
  • 0.10 mm as a good starting point
  • 0.15–0.20 mm for easier assembly

Print Recommendations

  • Print flat on the build plate
  • No supports needed
  • Layer height: 0.16–0.20 mm
  • Walls: 2–3
  • Infill: 15–25%
  • Material: PLA, PETG or similar

For best results, use bold fonts for small tags and contrasting colors for the plate and letter inserts.
