Kia PV5 front door speaker adapters

Speaker adapters for Kia PV5. These are designed for Blam SR165S but should work also with other 6.5" speakers. Tweeter holders are special for Blam tweeters. I used "InCarTec 41-035 Kia Speaker Adaptor" leads to connect mid speaker to cars factory connector. For tweeter I reused factory connector. I also reused cushion from factory speaker and super glued it to adapter ring. Two different heights. 

PV5 door trim have internal collar for factory speaker. Some new speakers might require lower adapter version to prevent speaker diaphragm to hit that colar.

PV5 door trim is quite easy to remove. First two screws, one on center of the trim and second under small lid on outer upper edge of the door. Then start popping out press-in fasteners. I used Winbad air vedge and started from bottom outer corner. Tweeter trim does not have any screws only two press-in fasteners.
