Pebble lives in Zoora's Cold Docks, where she loves to fall asleep on small pieces of ice and let the water gently rock her.
She says the sea always knows where it's going, even if it takes a while to show it.
One early morning, she noticed something strange: every time Cangüi's compass trembled, the pieces of ice also turned slightly in the same direction.
Pebble stopped moving and floated silently to see what the current was doing.
Then she discovered a small part of the mystery.
The water wasn't pushing the boxes randomly: it followed a gentle curve that always ended at the same point on the docks, as if it knew the way to Cangüi by heart.
That's how Pebble understood that the compass wasn't just pointing to The Last Island.
It was also responding to an ancient current that connected the sea to that forgotten path.
From then on, Pebble looks at the water with different eyes, because she knows that sometimes the sea doesn't bring back lost things…
it brings back things that know exactly where they're meant to go.
Moral: Sometimes, moving forward isn't about pushing harder, but about learning to trust the right direction.
