Japanese Kushi Comb - Tokugawa Kamon
Print Profile(1)

Description
A printable Japanese-style kushi hair comb with raised Tokugawa / Mitsuba Aoi kamon relief. The red comb shown in the listing collage is a real test print photo. The included OpenSCAD source is parametric and has a Customizer dropdown for multiple simplified printable kamon motifs.
This compact Japanese kushi-inspired comb was rebuilt as an editable OpenSCAD model from a STEP reference. It keeps the comb around the measured reference size of about 87.64 x 52.08 x 5.92 mm with 28 internal teeth, and adds optional raised or engraved kamon decorations on the spine.
- Tokugawa / Mitsuba Aoi kamon version
- Real red test print photo included in the gallery
- Parametric OpenSCAD source included
- Customizer dropdown for: Tokugawa, Sakura, Toyotomi, Imperial Kiku, Oda, Takeda, Hojo, Ashikaga, Shimazu, Mori, and sampler mode
Included files:
- Tokugawa kamon STL used for the test print
- Sampler STL showing multiple crest styles
- ZIP with individual STL exports for all included kamon choices
- Editable Japanese_Comb_parametric.scad source and original STEP reference copy
Print notes:
- Print flat on the back; no supports expected.
- 0.16-0.20 mm layer height works well for the teeth and shallow relief.
- Use 3+ walls for tougher teeth.
- 15-25% infill is enough for decorative/cosplay use; increase for daily use.
- PLA is fine for display/cosplay; PETG may be better if the comb will flex or live in a bag.
- Small brim/slow first layer can help keep the tooth tips flat.
