THE MODEL :
Embody the raw power of the wilderness and the opulence of royal court pageantry with this striking Baroque masquerade mask inspired by the wild boar. This exceptional design captures the beast's most fierce and iconic features: its sharp, sweeping tusks and powerful snout, seamlessly blended into a dense lattice of chiseled Rococo scrollwork, acanthus leaves, and high-relief ornaments. Perfectly fusing woodland savagery with Renaissance elegance, this statement piece delivers an unmatched theatrical presence. It is the ultimate accessory for high-fantasy cosplay at a historic masked ball, a mythic creature costume, or to display proudly on a vanity table as a unique dark art sculpture.
Tested Print Settings (Recommendations): The rich organic textures of the stylized fur and the sweeping curves of the tusks were successfully verified using matte black PLA.
- Infill: Set at 5% for the stationary display setup. Slicing Pro-Tip for Wearability: Since the snout and tusks shift the center of gravity slightly forward, if you plan to attach ribbons or straps for active wear, we suggest boosting the infill to 15-20% and running 4 wall loops (perimeters) around the strap slots to ensure maximum strength.
- Nozzle: 0.4 mm
- Supports: Well-calibrated tree supports are highly required beneath the protruding tusks, under the snout curvature, and along the upper rim of the eye arches for a clean finish.
Sizing Information: The model is scaled to standard adult facial dimensions. Please feel free to freely resize the model based on your desired use inside your slicing software to achieve a custom-tailored fit for your face width or to downscale it into a captivating miniature display relic.
INFORMATION:
A common question is: why do these prints require supports when they could be printed lying flat?
For my designs, I deliberately choose to print them standing upright rather than flat, in order to achieve the best possible level of detail. I prioritize visual quality over saving a few grams of filament.
Of course, you are free to change the print orientation in your slicer if you prefer.
