Mini Miner's Lantern with Spiral Vase Globe
Inspired by vintage miner's lanterns, this compact LED lantern combines classic styling with modern 3D printing techniques.
The lantern features a removable globe that can be printed in Spiral Vase mode for a lightweight, translucent appearance reminiscent of traditional glass globes.

Assembly
- Install a single cage rod and lightly tighten it to hold the assembly in place.
- Insert the globe into the chimney.
Install the remaining cage rods.
The rods can be tightened by hand from the side, but using a flat-head screwdriver makes assembly easier.
Do not overtighten. Excessive force may damage the printed parts.
- Insert the bail through the holes in the bail knobs.
- Attach the bail assembly to the hood.
- Install the hood onto the chimney.
- Attach the completed upper assembly to the base and tighten to secure.
Light Source
This lantern is designed for use with LED tea lights or similar battery-powered LED light sources.
Recommended LED tea light size:
- Maximum diameter: 40 mm
- Maximum height: 24 mm
⚠️ Do not use real candles or any open flame.
The printed parts are made from plastic and may melt, deform, or catch fire if exposed to heat.
Notes
The globe is designed to be printed using Spiral Vase mode to achieve a thin-wall translucent effect that resembles traditional glass lantern globes.
This model is intended for LED light sources only.
The chimney can also be used as a small storage compartment.
Feel free to place lightweight decorative items inside and customize the lantern to your own style.
Avoid placing heavy objects inside, as they may affect the stability of the lantern.
