Summary

Want a Spitfire Propeller that you can attach to your car's AC vent and it spins?  This model depicts the nose section of the famous WW2 Spitfire fighter aircraft and has a print-in-place bearing so it spins really well.  You can print in up to 3 colors without an AMS, so you don't need an AMS to enjoy this car fidget.

Thanks for requesting this model @hudsonthepolarb :-) Model requests are always welcome.

Fitting your car

Provided with the model are 3 different sizes of connectors from 1 (small), 2 (medium), 3 (large).  Easiest way to find the right fit is to print all 3 and then see which of the 3 fits the mostly securely to your car's AC vent.  Then use that connector to attach the propeller.

Once you've tested the fit, assembly takes seconds

1. Insert the connector into the base like you see below.

2. Then connect together the base, propellers, and nose by pushing them together.

3. Finally, just simply push the propeller onto your AC air vent blade like you see below (where the black part is the AC vent blade)

Bambu filaments used

Use any filaments you want for each piece to make it your own.

But, if you are looking for the filaments used in the model photos:

  • Silk+ Silver
  • Matte Red
  • Matte Dark Blue

Boost Me (for free)

If you enjoy my work and would like to help support my ability to share more (and even better) models in the future, please consider boosting or buying me a coffee at the link below.   Your support is what helps me have enough filament and supplies to do all the print testing required for my models to be high quality and easy to assemble.  It takes a mountain of test prints for each model. Thanks :-)

Here's a link to my Buy Me a Coffee page, thanks for the support!
