Nutty lives in Hollow Forest, where he stores seeds and acorns in such well-thought-out hiding places that he rarely forgets any.
He likes to keep everything in order, because he says that when something changes its place... it's because it wants to say something.
For several days, one of his acorns always appeared outside its hiding place.
Nutty thought someone was moving it, but one morning he decided to wait in silence to see it with his own eyes.
Then he discovered something surprising: a very thin blue root emerged from under the earth and gently pushed the acorn until it was next to three others, forming a small line.
Thus, he understood part of the mystery: the blue roots not only marked where the old path passed... they also moved small things to indicate that this path was awakening.
Since then, Nutty no longer gets angry when something appears out of place.
Now he knows that, sometimes, even disarray can be a clue.
Moral: Sometimes, what seems like a mistake can be just the sign you needed.
