Description
While building my Axisflying Manta X10 Lite long-range cinematic drone with the DJI O4 Pro, I needed a clean and secure way to mount the Foxeer M10Q 250 GPS module. The frame doesn’t have a dedicated GPS mounting point, and I wanted something lightweight, vibration-resistant, and positioned for the best possible satellite reception without interfering with the camera or other components.
This custom mount was designed specifically for the Manta X10 Lite + Foxeer M10Q 250 combo. After a few iterations, I achieved a perfect balance of strength, minimal weight, and optimal GPS antenna orientation.
Key features:
- Precise fit for the Foxeer M10Q 250 GPS module on the Axisflying Manta X10 Lite frame
- Secure mounting using the existing holes on the frame’s top plate
- Good GPS antenna positioning for fast and reliable satellite lock
- Lightweight design that doesn’t compromise flight performance
- Clean cable routing and protection for the GPS module
- Works great together with the DJI O4 Pro mount and landing legs I also designed for this frame
Tested on my own build — the mount holds the GPS module firmly even during hard landings, and I consistently get strong satellite locks with minimal interference.
Printable in PLA (for lowest weight) or PETG (for extra durability). Both materials work very well.
