If this fixed your Dreame A1 Pro mower's wheel motor problems, I'd appreciate the boost!
During installation of a new wheel to my Dreame A1 Pro robot mower, I noticed some unusual play in the drive wheel while spinning it with my hand. I took the wheel off and disassembled the gearbox to find out that the teet of the output gear had failed.
This is a reverse engineered model of the gear attached to the wheel shaft. The design parameters of the gear are:
- Number of teeth of the mating gear 13
- Number of teeth on this gear 41
- Center distance 30mm
- Tip diameter 47.1mm
- Module 1.11
- Profile shift -0.285
The old gear is melted over the shaft so it needs to be ground or otherwise mechanically disassembled. The shaft itself is solid steel shaft with grooves for the gear. This design has an internal diameter of 14,5mm, and the outside diameter of the shaft is 15,5mm meaning that this gear needs to be forced on its place. I used vice and a socket to push the gear over the shaft.
After installing the gear, apply general purpose grease to the gearbox to lubricate the components.
Use ASA, ABS, Nylon or other suitable engineering material. PETG/PLA will not last.
