Even though we only print PLA and PETG, we decided to get a small air purifier for the 3D printing room/office. We went with this model which was on sale:

Any air purifier is going to push air around a room and create drafts, so we needed a way to direct those drafts away from the 3D printers. This is the design we came up with. It sits loosely on the top of the purifier without falling off when running in on speed settings 1 & 2. Speed setting 3 creates enough airflow that it will push this deflector off the unit unless it is secured it some sort of adhesive. It's not a good idea to use this unit on speed three in a room running a 3D printer that is no enclosed.
The profile is set for PETG, but should be fine for PLA, or any other firm filament. It's a simple design that suits our needs. I hope some else finds this useful.
