Description

A crossover nobody expected.

This model is a humorous crossover between the classic friendly blue train universe and the infamous “Little Boy” bomb design — creating something both cursed and oddly fascinating at the same time.

The project is split into multiple parts for easier printing, painting, and assembly.

Model parts:

  • Bomb tail fin
  • Connector piece
  • Main bomb body / warhead
  • Thomas-style face assembly:
    • Gray face base
    • White eye elements
    • Black eye details

Finished size:

Approx. 5 × 5 × 20 cm after assembly.

Printing information:

  • Recommended layer height: 0.2 mm
  • Material: PLA recommended (print profile prepared for PLA, but feel free to use any material you prefer)
  • Supports: Minimal supports required only around the tail section

Color recommendation:

For the best final result, pay attention to your filament color choices. Using a darker Thomas-style blue will give a more authentic look — my original blue ended up being a bit too bright 😅

Assembly:

After printing, glue all parts together.

For best results, gel super glue is recommended.

A completely unnecessary crossover between childhood nostalgia and questionable historical engineering 😅

If you print one, feel free to share your make — I’d love to see your versions and color choices!
