Storage Box (print in place) with Labels

These compact storage boxes are designed for organizing small parts, accessories, and other items. Each box features a built-in label slot on the lid, allowing you to insert small labels for easy identification and a clean, organized workspace.

Important Printing Notes

The print-in-place hinge mechanism uses very fine tolerances to achieve smooth movement directly off the printer. For best results, a well-calibrated 3D printer is essential. Improper calibration, over-extrusion, or poor dimensional accuracy may cause the hinge to fuse or become difficult to move.

Post-Processing Instructions

• The model requires supports in specific areas. Remove all supports carefully to avoid damaging the hinge or locking mechanism.
• When opening the box for the first time, gently work the hinge loose by moving it back with light pressure.
• Do not force the lid open abruptly, as the hinge may still be partially bonded from printing and could break if excessive force is applied.
• Once the hinge is freed, it should operate smoothly during normal use.

Print recommendations (as it is in the print file): print on the side, supports required, 1 wall, 0.16 layers, 15% infill (gyroid). 

(When not using the print file, you will need do adjust the lid position, as the supports will otherwise make some problems. I took care of that in the uploaded .3mf file)
