If you found this model helpful, please don’t hesitate to give it a boost — it means a lot to me. Thank you :D
This bracket was designed to reposition the P2S/X2D screen to stay flush with the printer, reducing at least 2cm from the total depth in order to fit both my P2S and X2D in a small closet.
The same piece fits both P2S and X2D, however the flat cable on the X2D is shorter than the P2S and you need to be cautious when pulling it out. It is recommended to first snap the screen onto the bracket, then snap the bracket onto the printer. The bracket buckle is a bit tight, a bit of force will do the trick. Make sure to print it with supports to get the most accuracy out of it.
Note: This is a redesign of another bracket on makerworld (made from scratch on blender). It includes the screen lock mechanism to keep the screen in place, a better clearance to snap it tight on the printer, rounded corners and (most important) it makes the printer at least 1cm smaller than the other design.
