Printing Notes
The bearing housings have been carefully toleranced for silk PLA filament to achieve a secure press fit.
Important:
- Parts that interface directly with the bearings should be printed using silk filament
- Using standard matte or basic PLA may result in a looser bearing fit
- No supports are required for most parts (verify orientation in the provided project files)
Assembly
- Print all parts in the recommended orientations.
- Press the 6704 bearings into their respective housings.
- Assemble the rotating track, chequered flag, and rear emblem sections.
- Press-fit remaining components together.
- Apply a small amount of glue where desired for a permanent assembly.
- Customise and install your name plate.
