Description
Party Grandma / Funny Alcohol Gnome – Hilarious Garden & Bar Decoration
Looking for a truly unconventional, humorous, and 100% original decoration that will immediately catch everyone's eye? This highly detailed figurine of a cheerful lady with a beer bottle (Duff style) and a great mood is guaranteed to crack up anyone with a good sense of humor. It works perfectly as a funny birthday gift, a witty bar decoration, a unique cake topper, or a hilarious alternative to a traditional ceramic garden gnome!
The print project is divided into 4 plates featuring two different sizes and optional cake topper sticks:
- Plate 1: Female Gnome – height 80 mm (smaller version)
- Plate 2: Female Gnome – height 150 mm (larger, robust version for bar or garden)
- Plate 3: Cake topper stick tailored for the 80mm version
- Plate 4: Cake topper stick tailored for the 150mm version
Print Settings
The model has been successfully tested and printed with the following settings:
- Material: PLA
- Layer height: 0.16 mm (for smooth surfaces and great replication of the hair texture, clothes, and facial details)
- Infill: 7% Gyroid (saves filament and time while maintaining excellent structural strength)
- Supports: YES (due to the overhanging hands and fingers, supports are required – I highly recommend Tree supports for clean and easy removal)
Post-processing & Painting
To achieve the exact same look as shown in the product photos, here is the process I used:
- Base coats: Painted using an airbrush.
- Details: Fine wrinkles, eyes, teeth, and the bottle label were finished by hand-brushing.
- Paints: High-quality Vallejo acrylic paints were used.
- Finish: The final model is sealed and protected with a clear coat spray (varnish) to ensure durability.
