This is my latest open-source work from my exploration of color blending (color stacking) - the 'Spreading Wings Parrot'. It has a high print success rate, strong supports that are easily removed, resulting in excellent print quality. Combined with large-area color blending, it gives a strong visual impact

I have spent countless hours monitoring the printing process and meticulously refined the slicing parameters through careful observation, so there is almost no need for modification after downloading, saving you worry, material, and time. For me, being responsible for my work means being responsible to the 3D enthusiasts who trust me and download my prints. Minimizing the failure rate and improving print quality to the greatest extent is a principle I adhere to

Note 1: If the printer model is changed, parameters may be lost, and you might need to re-download the .3mf file

Note 2: If you are confident in your skills, you can modify the slicing parameters as you wish, as long as you know what you are doing, it's perfectly fine

Note 3: The correct way to remove supports is to start cutting from the thinner nodes, trying to avoid the thicker supports that are holding the model first. Please do not damage the model by trying to remove 'perfect supports'; do not buy the casket and return the pearls

Note 4: Multi-color and color-blended (stacked-color) models have long print times and large chamber temperature fluctuations. Therefore, be sure to clean the build plate before printing, dry the filament, and apply glue to the build plate

Currently, the Bambu Studio software version still seems to have some bugs. For example, a certain color blend might only be able to paint one color block, and if you paint it again, it will turn into a different color after slicing. You have to create a new color blend to paint another area, which is why there are several dark purples in the H2C .3mf file. This is a clumsy method, but I can't think of how else to work around this issue before the software updates to fix the bug

Since MakerWorld currently does not support uploading color-blended files, I have placed both the H2C and U1 color-blended .3mf files in the original file. It seems they cannot be seen on mobile devices, and you need to log in to the web version to view them

Click the small triangle at the download profile location, select 'Download STL/CAD files'. The file titles inside correspond to the versions, so don't download the wrong one

Reminder! Reminder! Reminder!

Color-blended models must be used with software versions that support color blending to function correctly. Snapmaker Orca is recommended to be 2.3.3 or higher; Bambu Studio is recommended to be 2.7.1 or higher. As long as the software version is correct, it can be used directly. If the software version is incorrect, it will automatically convert the color blend to basic colors, and you will not be able to print with color blending. Time and material consumption will increase geometrically, and the file values will not be normal

Also, generally Snapmaker Orca can open Bambu Lab's .3mf files, but Bambu Studio cannot open .3mf files saved by Snapmaker Orca and will crash. Therefore, I have uploaded their respective .3mf files separately, so don't download the wrong one

I have prepared a raised base with pins for this parrot. This is not a mandatory part to print, but if you happen to need it, you can give it a try

To accommodate everyone's creativity, I did not completely merge the parrot and the base, and fully preserved the parrot's feet in the slicing software. Friends who need it can separate the base and replace it with their desired arrangement

I really like this parrot because it's smiling, and it makes me happy when I see it. I hope it does the same for you all~~

The curious baby wonders why you're staring at '4 to infinity'~~

I hope to get your support. If you happen to run out of filament spools, then please help by liking and favoriting. Thank you~~
