Description
This design was developed to be compatible with a wide variety of Chinese bootleg Famicom PCBs (boards), as there are numerous different manufacturers and revisions.
To achieve this compatibility, the interior of the cartridge includes several structural supports and guides. Depending on the PCB used, it may be necessary to remove some of these internal supports to obtain a perfect fit.
The modification is simple and can be done with tweezers, a utility knife, or a rotary tool, according to each user's preference.
Each PCB may require a different adaptation, so it is recommended to perform a test assembly before final assembly.
This project is intended for the restoration, preservation, and organization of Famicom-compatible cartridges.
Due to the large number of existing variants, this design prioritizes maximum compatibility over a specific adaptation for a single PCB model.

This model was designed after testing numerous Chinese bootleg Famicom PCB variants. Since there is no single manufacturing standard, it is impossible to guarantee a perfect fit for every board without minor adjustments.
For this reason, the interior includes support features that can be easily removed depending on the PCB being installed. The goal of this design is to provide a versatile and reusable platform, allowing each user to adapt it to their hardware with minimal modifications.
