Wer regelmäßig an seinem Mountainbike schraubt, kennt das Problem: Sobald der Vorbau abgenommen wird, hängt der Lenker im Weg und man hat gefühlt immer eine Hand zu wenig. Genau dafür habe ich dieses Tool entwickelt.

Der MTB Headset Service Helper wird einfach mit einem Klettband oder Kabelbindern am Oberrohr befestigt. Der Vorbau wird anschließend auf den Haltestab gesteckt, sodass Lenker und Cockpit sicher gehalten werden. Dadurch bleiben beide Hände frei und Arbeiten am Steuersatz oder an der Gabel werden deutlich entspannter.

Warum dieses Tool entstanden ist

Mich hat es bei jedem Headset-Service genervt, ständig den Lenker oder Vorbau festhalten zu müssen. Also habe ich eine Lösung konstruiert, die nicht nur das Cockpit sicher hält, sondern gleichzeitig als praktische Ablage für Schrauben und Werkzeuge dient.
