Description
Note: All my models are for personal use only and may not be sold!
This model is based on the maxi train of R. Darbellay and shows a cool looking scenery of a rapid river ride.
Specifically it's based on Piraña, a rapid river which can be found at Efteling.
The model contains 4 buildplates and does require 14 6x3 mm magnets.
Buildplate 1: base model + 7 boats
Buildplate 2: turntable + accessoires
Buildplate 3: Scenery
Buildplate 4: Other objects
Assembly:
Step 1:
Glue all magnets into the spaceholders (7 boats and 7 round objects).
Make sure to allign them in the right direction, otherwise they won't stick to the boats later on.
Step 2:
Place the base model upside down and arrange the 7 round objets in the cutout.
Try to place them so the turntable will be exactly over them. Use the turntable to get them to the right position. It might take some time to line them all up, but when you have all 7 in the right place: push the turntable over towards the base model.
Step 3:
Flip the base and attach the scenery to the top. Use the two mountain pieces to secure this plate. Glue isn't needed here.
Step 4:
Place all scenery object onto the top plate:
Place 7 rings over the boats, attach the grass mountain to the rectangular block, place the station building on top of the round elements and push all the brown pieces into their position (6 little brown barrels and 1 island piece).
Glue the water pieces onto their position.
Step 5:
Place the boats on the river. The magnets will guide them into the right place.
