Description
A Gridfinity-compatible holder designed for 15 ml test tubes (16 mm diameter, up to ~155 mm length). The cork recess is intentionally snug to keep tubes securely locked in place without any wobbling.
Optimized for use with the Gridfinity Storage Box V2 [5×4] by Schulab at 9U height, two layers of test tubes fit perfectly with 10 tubes per layer, for a total of 20 tubes per box.
The model consists of three parts:
- Base – compatible with any standard Gridfinity grid.
- Mid sections (×2) – each section acts both as a lid to lock the bottom layer in place and as a holder for the upper layer. Can also be used as a standalone lid in a 6U container if you only need to store 10 tubes.
- Top lids (×2) – secure the upper layer of test tubes.
My tubes are approximately 150 mm long, but the holder accommodates slightly longer ones as well.
