Description
Turn an empty tofu container into an upgraded hydroponic tray: securely hold green onions upright, easily monitor the water level, and harvest fresh greens again in about a week.
Purpose: Hold trimmed green-onion (scallion) roots for water regrowth in a reused 120x100mm tofu container with zero-lift maintenance.
Design: Flexible claw holes adapt to grip stems of any thickness, preventing them from tipping over. A built-in float indicator and a dedicated refill hole allow you to check and add water without ever lifting the root-filled tray.
How to use:
Insert the float indicator up through its hole from the bottom of the tray, then place the tray onto the empty tofu container.
Trim scallions, keeping 3–5 cm of root.
Push the roots straight down through the holes; the flexible claws will grip the stems securely.
Pour water into the refill hole until the float indicator rises and stops. Optional: add diluted hydroponic nutrient per label.
Place in bright indirect light. Simply top up water through the hole whenever the float drops. Harvest in ~1 week.
