Bring a touch of modern, minimalist charm to your desk with this Geometric Low-Poly Axolotl. Designed with sharp, clean facets, this little amphibian perfectly captures the adorable nature of the axolotl while keeping a sleek, origami-like aesthetic. It's a fantastic, quick print that looks incredibly striking in glossy, matte, or dual-color silk filaments. Perfect as a small desktop buddy, a bookshelf guardian, or a quick gift for biology and 3D printing fans alike
Clean Low-Poly Aesthetic: The flat planes and sharp angles are specifically designed to catch the light, making this model look great even on basic printer settings.
- Layer Height: A layer height of 0.16mm to 0.20mm works perfectly here. You don't need ultra-fine layers because the flat geometric faces actually benefit from the sharp, consistent steps of a standard profile.
- Support Strategy: Due to the angle of the external gills and the chin, some minimal supports are recommended to ensure the sharp points print cleanly. Tree/organic supports work best and are easy to remove.
- Fragile Parts Warning ⚠️: Be gentle when removing supports around the tiny toes and the tips of the head gills, as they can be delicate depending on your filament's brittleness.
- Infill: 10% to 15% standard infill is more than enough for a sturdy figure.
