The Twisty Passthrough Hourglass is next in my Passthrough 3.o (three point oh!) series that reimagines 2 of the community's favorite fidgets into a complete new class of fidget that is more dynamic, kinetic and FUN! You KNOW you have to try it! Print in place, no supports.
Yes! It's backwards compatible with my other Passthrough 3.o (three point oh!) fidgets, you can fidget with them together! You can bet your beacon the upcoming ones will too!
Yes, it takes longer to print than the typical passthrough of the same size. There are 9 parts to print, instead of the 2 in the standard passthrough fidgets.
Yes! The long print time is worth it.
I recommend printing it twice with different colors to mix and match, the double-print strategy avoids waste using AMS and to avoid first-layer failure on the complex sliding mechanism that can happen print-by-object.
