Description

Boost Me (for free)

This project provides a secure mounting solution and cable strain relief specifically designed for the D-shaped axles of standard hoverboard hub motors. It's a must-have for DIY robotics, rover builds, and custom electric vehicles where you need to safely route the phase and sensor wires.

The model features a robust clamp that locks onto the D-shaft profile, combined with an angled cable sleeve that prevents sharp bending and mechanical damage to the delicate wiring.

Key Features:

  • D-Shaft Perfect Fit: Designed specifically to grip the flat section of a hoverboard motor axle for zero-slip mounting.
  • Cable Protection: The angled sleeve forces a safe bending radius for the cables, protecting them from shearing or wearing out right at the axle exit.
  • Heavy-Duty Securing: Utilizes 4 M4 screws to provide a rock-solid grip on the motor shaft.

📋 Bill of Materials (BOM)

To assemble the mount, you will need the following hardware (in addition to the 3D printed parts):

  • M4 Screws – 4 pcs.
