Description

A clean, low-profile stand for displaying a full-size baseball or softball bat — no drilling, no hardware, no wall required. The bat rests into two contoured saddles and is held by gravity, so you can set it on a shelf, desk, mantle, console, or counter and move it whenever you want.

WHY THIS ONE: Most bat displays lock you into a wall in one fixed orientation. This is the freestanding companion to my wall/clip mount — same low-profile look, zero commitment. Set it down, drop the bat in, done. Great for a finished game ball bat, a signed bat, or a kid's first slugger on the shelf.

RECOMMENDED PRINT SETTINGS:

  • Material: PETG (tough, won't get brittle over time). PLA+ is fine for lighter display bats.
  • Walls: 4+
  • Infill: 30–40%
  • Orientation: print so layer lines run ACROSS the load direction, not along it — a 3D print is weakest along its layer lines.

WANT TO MOUNT IT INSTEAD? My [Wall / Clip Mount version] grips the bat and attaches to shelving edges, ledges, and even a flat-screen TV bezel — including swiveling pedestal-mount TVs. An angled wall version is also in the works — follow for updates.

IMPORTANT — PLEASE READ: This is a DECORATIVE display stand. Place it on a stable, level surface where it cannot be easily bumped, and keep it away from edges and from above seating, beds, walkways, or pets where a falling bat could cause injury. Verify the stand is weighted/stable enough for the bat you're displaying before leaving it unattended. 3D-printed parts are weaker along layer lines than molded parts — print at the recommended settings and inspect periodically. Use at your own risk.
