✈️ About This Project
As a US Air Force veteran, I have always wanted a figurine of Mr. Spooky. I looked far and wide, but only found limited results or very expensive resin versions. Because of that, I created this model as a passion project. It was my very first time turning a 2D image into a 3D file using MakerLab, and I wanted to share it with fans of the F-4 Phantom II and military aviation in general.
The photos on this page are of the actual model I designed, printed, and hand-painted. Painting it with a handheld brush was a highly relaxing project! So have fun, enjoy, and if you love aviation history, please download the files, share your finished prints, and give this design a boost!

📜 History of "The Spook"
McDonnell Douglas famously used a cartoon ghost named "The Spook" as the unofficial mascot for the F-4 Phantom II fighter jet. Technical artist Anthony "Tony" Wong designed the cloaked, faceless figure in 1958. It features prominently on flight suit patches, honoring a legendary era of military aviation.
