Inspired by the classic Mighty Beanz toys from the 1990s and early 2000s, this printable race track lets you roll and race your own bean-shaped characters down a fun modular course.

The set includes the mega track, Mini Tracks are Included in this model: https://makerworld.com/es/models/2916010-mighty-beanz-race-track-and-mini-track-toy#profileId-3261950

Printable beanz designed to work with 8 mm steel balls inside, those are the balls included in maker's beginner kit. The added weight allows the beans to roll and wobble just like the original toys.

You will need: A 3d printer, filament, scissors, sandpaper and an 8mm ball included in makers beginner kit.

Important Printing Notes

For the included 3MF files:

  • The bean print plates already contain a programmed pause.
  • When the printer pauses, insert an 8 mm metal ball into each bean.
  • Resume the print to seal the bean automatically.

For STL files:

  • You must manually add a pause in your slicer.
  • Add the pause at approximately layer 100
  • Insert an 8 mm metal ball into each bean and resume the print.

How to Play

  1. Place the track on a flat and stable surface.
  2. Put both beans at the top starting position of each lane.
  3. Count down and start the race!
  4. Watch the beans roll down the track toward the finish line.

Rules

  • If your bean gets stuck, you lose.
  • If your bean falls off the track, you lose.
  • If only one bean reaches the finish line, that bean wins.
  • If both beans reach the finish line, the bean that finishes farthest ahead is the winner!

Have fun building, racing, and collecting your own printable bean racers!
