Description

This IBC container inlet filter is designed to prevent large debris and contaminants from entering rainwater storage tanks.

The filter is installed directly into the IBC container inlet opening and captures leaves, twigs, insects, roof debris, and other large particles before they enter the tank.

The design includes attachment loops on the upper rim, allowing an optional fabric or mesh filter sock to be secured for capturing smaller particles.

Ideal for rainwater harvesting systems connected to roof gutters.

Features

✅ Compatible with IBC containers featuring:

  • DN150 inlet (150 mm)
  • DN225 inlet (225 mm)

✅ 5 mm perforation holes

✅ 5 mm wall thickness for increased durability

✅ Attachment loops for optional filter sock or fine mesh

✅ Easy removal for cleaning and maintenance

✅ Optimized for outdoor use

Recommended Materials

For long-term outdoor use, it is recommended to print the filter using:

  • ASA (recommended)
  • PETG
  • ABS
  • Other UV-resistant materials

PLA is not recommended for prolonged outdoor exposure due to heat and UV degradation.

Applications

  • Rainwater harvesting systems
  • Roof gutter collection systems
  • Garden irrigation tanks
  • General-purpose outdoor water storage

Notes

  • Designed to filter large contaminants only.
  • For finer filtration, use an additional filter sock or mesh attached to the top loops.
  • Clean the filter regularly to maintain optimal water flow.
