Description

This iPod Classic Bluetooth Switch mod allows you to add Bluetooth to a 6th gen iPod classic while preserving hold switch functionality.

This custom switch integrates with the existing mounting hardware inside the body of the iPod. I made sure to keep the clip that holds the backplate in place, so the installation of this mod doesn't affect the connection between the backplate and the body.

This mod requires drilling an additional slot in the backplate to allow the new switch to protrude through (hole cutting jig included in files). After installing the switch, the rest of the Bluetooth mod follows what is already well documented online.

Note: A 0.2mm nozzle is required to print the switch and mounting bracket! They are very small. For printing the hole cutting jig, a standard 0.4mm nozzle can be used.
