This is a dahlia model.
The flower part can be printed directly, no supports, Print in Place.
It is recommended to use gradient filament, which can produce many varied effects and is suitable for the vibrant colors of dahlias. However, you need to adjust how many flowers are printed on a single plate based on the filament's gradient length to achieve the desired effect.
I also tried printing mixed-color gradients with X2D and achieved good results. The purple flower in the image below is a mixed-color gradient print, which is more flexible and controllable than gradient filament, but printing time is very long even with a dual-head printer.
