Description

3D model of Starship V3 S39 from Flight 12 made in Fusion360

Modelled with a 1:100 scale in mind (90x18 mm rings) so it's around 50cm tall. You may encounter some difficulties by reducing the scale (sorry but I really wanted for it to be big).

The top and bottom fins are foldable.

Raptor 3 gimbal and vacuum engines in the engine bay.

It's possible to attach 5x3 mm magnets in the engine bay for integration with the SuperHeavy booster: https://makerworld.com/it/models/2968756-superheavy-v3-b19-flight-12-1-100-scale#profileId-3329136

The assembly is pretty straightforward. You may refer to the model pictures.

  1. Attach each section with the corresponding heat shield using glue. Ex: Stack1-Shield1, Stack2-Shield2…
  2. Glue the fins gray inserts inside the main structures, then attach the fins on their joints.
  3. Stack the ship from bottom to top using the 5 mm pins. Please note that the pins between the first and second section are shorter than the rest. If needed you could modify the pin scale for a snug fit or simply glue everything together.
  4. Attach the 6 raptor engines in the engine bay.
  5. Glue the docking ports and the access hatch on the main body.

For the small pieces, like the connectors, I suggest to do a test print to check for tolerance problems.

Printed on an A1 mini so should be compatible with every model.

Hope you like it! Thanks for the attention
