Replacement front bay blanking plate for Tandy 2500SX-series computers.

This part was modeled from an original OEM blank and test-fitted in an original Tandy 2500SX front bezel. It is intended to replace missing or damaged bay blanks commonly lost over the years.

Unlike the original injection-molded part, this reproduction includes hidden internal spring geometry to improve flexibility and durability when FDM printed. The external appearance and fit remain faithful to the original component while making installation and removal less stressful on the printed part.

The example print was produced in white ABS+. Original Tandy plastics were molded in a light beige color. For the most authentic restoration, print in a matching beige material or apply paint and texture to match your system.

The original part is quite rigid and can be fragile after decades of aging. This reproduction uses a redesigned internal clip structure that provides additional flexibility while remaining hidden from view once installed.
