Good Success means “Good Result,” a good event. It ultimately signifies the happiness and peace we long for. Under this title and apparition, Our Lady teaches us that to achieve such happiness in our lives, we must face the truth and confront it. Thus, she warned humanity through apparitions to a nun in Quito, Ecuador.

The first revelations of Our Lady of Good Success

Our Lady of Good Success made her first apparition on February 2, 1594, appearing to a nun, the servant of God Mariana de Jesus Torres, in Quito, Ecuador. In her apparition, Our Lady prophesied to the sister many events the Church would experience in the 20th century. Our Lady predicted that Pope Pius IX would proclaim the dogma of the Assumption. She also predicted that Ecuador would have a president who would die as a martyr, which indeed happened.

The miracle of Sister Mariana’s heart

Sister Mariana was largely responsible for consecrating Ecuador to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. To this day, miraculously, her heart remains intact, exhibited in the city of Quito. Our Lady of Good Success also predicted the birth of the Holy Curé of Ars, also known as Saint John Mary Vianney. All the predictions of Our Lady of Good Success revealed to Sister Mariana about the evils that would afflict the Church and society relate to the 20th century and also to our time.

A holy Sister

Through the prophecies of Our Lady of Good Success, Sister Mariana learned of the needs and sufferings we would endure. She was frightened by the great misfortunes that would afflict the Church in the 20th century: impiety, heresy, and impurity, which continue to be present to this day. Due to these three realities that still plague the Church and society, Sister Mariana, whose body remains miraculously intact to the present time, freely offered herself to suffer for us.

The prophecies continue

Almost all the predictions of Our Lady of Good Success have already come true. The Virgin Mary promised to protect those who spread devotion to Her. Our Lady also predicted that devotion to her under the title of Our Lady of Good Success would only be disseminated in the 20th century. She also predicted, at the end of the 16th century, that in the 20th century there would be a spirit of impurity that would saturate the atmosphere of that time. It is possible to see that this prediction has become real by observing cell phones, television, the internet, and other things that lead us to impurity. Our Lady of Good Success says that “there will hardly be any virgin souls left in the world.” Nevertheless, Our Lady of Good Success promises that there will still be good people dedicated to her, especially in religious life.

More warning predictions and a promise

Our Lady of Good Success also predicted that the souls of children would become more perverted, especially in schools, for it is there that the childlike innocence of children is lost and, as a consequence, there would be far fewer priestly vocations. The Virgin of Good Success also says that the secular clergy would still be very far from their ideal, as priests would neglect their sacred duties, losing divine guidance. They would stray from God’s path towards the priestly ministry. Priests would seek their own well-being and wealth. Nevertheless, Our Lady of Good Success promises that if we pray, this dark night will end, and God will send a shepherd who will renew the spirit of his priests.

Prayer to Our Lady of Good Success

“O Queen of Heavens, Mother of Good Success,
Favored Daughter of the Father,
Mother of Jesus and Humanity,
Spouse of the Holy Spirit,
Temple of the Most Holy Trinity,
Remember, Virgin Mary of Good Success,
All your sons and daughters, especially the suffering ones.
I come to you, merciful Mother,
And I ask you, by your love,
That you obtain from God the Father a living faith that never loses sight of eternal truths;
From the Son, a firm hope that I may always aspire to reach the things above.
And from the Holy Spirit,
Inflamed charity that I may always live and
Love God above all things.
Most Holy Virgin, by your help,
May I love and enjoy you eternally in glory.
