Description
This was heavily inspired from @BerserkerJake_403397 and @Diode663_1505648 rugged Meshtastic/Meshcore case models. The main body in their design was originally centered around a water resistant plug and I find it a bit optimistic in a 3D printed case so I've opted for more commonly available USB-C.
The case is designed to make an easy chassis for a mobile 1W Rakwireless node with GPS and easy USB access for charging. This will work with a base 4631 kit as well.
I have tried multiple iterations of this design and think this is the best so far for someone who wants minimal soldering. With that being said, feel free to make edits.
In my experience, internal GPS puck-antennas works fine in the shell if you opt for that route, but external is cooler....
In the photos I have a ZBM2 Industries filter inline with the lora, I consider it optional.
