Description
Make live food care a little easier with these handled cage caddies for insect keepers, cricket tubs and feeder insect enclosures.
This set includes two small handled trays designed to make feeding, watering and repositioning live food cleaner and more convenient.
In the supplied profile:
- Pegged water caddy
- Shallow food / leaves caddy
- Separate push-fit handles
The pegged water caddy is designed so water sits between the raised pegs, allowing insects to drink without the same risk of drowning in an open dish. The handle also makes it easier to carry the filled water caddy from the tap to the enclosure with less spilling.
The shallow tray is intended for dry food, leafy greens or similar feed items, keeping food in a defined area and making it easier to remove leftovers or reposition the feeding area.
The handled design makes both caddies easier to lift vertically out of the enclosure, move around, refill and place back exactly where you want them.
Assembly note:
The handle is intentionally a very tight push fit so it can be used without glue. Please take care when inserting the handle. Apply pressure slowly and evenly, and avoid twisting or forcing it at an angle, as too much force may snap the handle.
To use in a high UV environment consider using a suitable filament like ASA
