Description
Dock / Stand for Dell Pro Max 16 Laptop, Also supports most laptops of ~ 30mm thickness.
This laptop supports the laptop in the upright position and includes a channel on either side of the stand to route cables for charger, headphones, and other peripheries etc.
The stand includes built in supports to prevent the sides from falling during the print. These are a safety feature that I included after printing my first stand. They were not required but included incase others have a different experience to me. The build in supports can simply be snapped off once the print is complete. Also included are 'mouse ears' built into the model, these are also trimmed easily post print and prevents peel during the print.
The model is designed simply to be printed as is.
I have used PLA at 0.2mm layer height, 4 walls, 5 shell layers and 18% 3D honeycomb infill.
This gap in the between stand walls is 30mm and will support most laptops upto this size.
