Ready to take your next birthday cake to supersonic speeds?

This model recreates the iconic Giant Gold Ring from the Sonic the Hedgehog movies, which acts as an interdimensional teleportation portal! It is the perfect (and highly spectacular) decoration for a Sonic-themed cake, but you can also use it as a desk display for your gaming collection.

The best part about this design? To give you that original movie "lightning vortex" effect without making you go crazy with endless filament changes, I designed the ring with a slot on the back: just print the included graphic on paper, cut it out, and glue it on! Easy, fast, and high-impact! ✨

🌟 Why you'll love this model:

  • Easy Printing: The ring prints flat, requiring no supports, which saves you time.
  • Movie-Accurate Effect: The combination of the 3D-printed ring and the paper graphic creates an incredible depth right behind your Sonic figure.
  • Perfect for Parties: It will instantly become the centerpiece of the birthday cake!

🛠️ Printing & Assembly Tips:

  1. Filament: For the ring, I highly recommend a PLA Silk Gold (shiny gold) or a vibrant yellow.
  2. Portal Graphic: You will find the vortex image file included in the download. Print it out while keeping the proportions scaled to the diameter of your printed ring. (Tip: Use photo paper or glossy paper for an extra cosmic look!).
  3. Assembly: Cut out the printed circle and attach it to the back of the ring using a bit of glue or double-sided tape. Place it on the cake right behind Sonic and the Chaos Emeralds, and you're good to go!

Note: The Sonic figure and the transparent gems shown in the picture are only used as an example for the setup and are not included in the file.
