Model Description
Nidecker Supermatic Release Lever Extension
This is a simple extension for the release lever of the Nidecker Supermatic bindings. It makes reaching and operating the lever easier, especially in deep snow or when wearing gloves.
The model was designed for strength and durability and has been tested successfully on my own bindings.
Hardware required
For each lever extension you need:
- 1 × M3×50 screw
- 2 × M3 lock nuts (nyloc nuts recommended)
A drilling template is included to help position the holes accurately.
Files included
- .3mf file (recommended, created with OrcaSlicer)
- STEP files for users who want to modify the design
- STL files
Note: Depending on your CAD software or slicer settings, the STEP files may require adjustment of the angular deflection/tessellation settings. The .3mf file avoids these issues and is recommended for printing.
Printing recommendations
- ABS or ASA are recommended for their toughness and temperature resistance.
- PLA should also work, but may be less suitable for long-term outdoor use.
- The part is oriented to maximize strength and reduce the chance of breaking.
