THE MODEL :

This exceptional design features the fierce countenance of Hercules (Heracles) crowned with the invulnerable pelt of the Nemean Lion, celebrating the first of his legendary twelve labors. The divine portrait is beautifully framed within an architectural pediment rich with Baroque moldings, chiseled scrollwork, and a delicate gothic openwork arch. It is the ultimate accent piece to bring a museum-like presence and historical depth to a library bookshelf, an elegant study, or a living room layout—perfect for showcasing small vintage volumes, antique vials, or fine artifacts.

Tested Print Settings (Recommendations): The dense textures of the lion's mane, the detailed beard loops, and the intricate pediment patterns were successfully verified using matte black PLA.

• Infill: Display setup printed at 5%. Load-Bearing Advice: Since the bottom display ledge is integrated directly beneath the high-relief bust, the model naturally distributes weight efficiently against the wall. If you plan to hold dense items (such as metal bookends or heavy crystals), we suggest boosting the infill to 20-25% with 4 wall loops (perimeters) to stiffen the horizontal deck.
• Nozzle: 0.4 mm
• Supports: Light tree supports are recommended beneath the overhanging lion's jaw, under Hercules' nose profile, and below the front lip of the bottom shelf.

Sizing Information: The model features compact, upright proportions that look stunning on accent pillars or centered above wooden cabinets. Please feel free to freely resize the model based on your desired use inside your slicing software to perfectly match your specific interior space or display requirements.

INFORMATION:

A common question is: why do these prints require supports when they could be printed lying flat?

For my designs, I deliberately choose to print them standing upright rather than flat, in order to achieve the best possible level of detail. I prioritize visual quality over saving a few grams of filament.

Of course, you are free to change the print orientation in your slicer if you prefer.
