When Dwalin, son of Fundin, appears at the doorstep, he doesn't do so with a delicate bow: he does it with an axe on his shoulder and a gaze that has seen too many winters under the Mountain. 🏔️ Here we imagine him as only bards in taverns dare to sing of him: not on foot among the Company's ranks, but riding an armored war goat, charging towards the enemy in an assault that blends Tolkien's epic with the heavy fantasy aesthetic of dwarven warriors. ⚔️
This model is a highly detailed diorama action figure dedicated to the most fearsome dwarf of Thorin's Company. ✨ The lamellar armor of the mount, the massive horns, the axe-hammer raised skyward, and the jagged rocky base transform the piece into a focal point for a shelf or display case, not just a simple gaming miniature. 🛡️
🎯 Who is it for:
- Middle-earth collectors and fans of The Hobbit / The Lord of the Rings
- Enthusiasts of fantasy fan art with dwarven/Norse aesthetics
- Hobbyists looking for a stately piece, not just a simple bust
- 3D printers who want a challenging and rewarding project 💪
🆚 What sets it apart:
- Integrated diorama with pre-modeled scenic base — no assembly required
- Dynamic pose with moving mount, rare for the Dwarves of the Company
- Detail level on goat armor and fittings designed for FDM 0.4 mm
- Integrates aesthetically with the rest of the 'Thorin's Dwarves' collection

🔹 Printing Tips
- 💡 Goat and rider are a single piece: the model is already oriented and calibrated in the .3mf file; just load and print.
- ⚠️ Tree supports mandatory: goat legs, raised axe, and curved horns generate significant overhangs. Do not disable them.
- ✅ 0.2 mm layer is the right compromise between detail on the lamellar armor and reasonable printing time for a piece of this size.
- 💡 Support cleaning: work carefully on the horns and under the goat's belly, where supports are most concentrated.
