Benchy Configuration in PLA-CF
Print Profile(1)

Description
Do you want to test your printer with a more demanding material than conventional PLA? This Benchy has been specifically configured to be printed in PLA-CF (Carbon Fiber Reinforced PLA), offering a stiffer finish, a spectacular technical texture, and an excellent opportunity to test the quality of your machine.
🔹 Optimized for PLA-CF
Print parameters were adjusted to take advantage of this material's characteristics, helping to achieve clean surfaces, defined details, and a professional appearance.
🔹 Premium finish
Carbon fiber provides a unique matte texture that partially conceals layer lines and gives the model a much more technical and industrial look.
🔹 A true calibration challenge
The Benchy includes overhangs, bridges, curves, a chimney, windows, and multiple details that allow you to evaluate:
- External wall quality.
- Bridge and overhang performance.
- Dimensional accuracy.
- Temperature and cooling control.
- Retraction management.
🔹 Important before printing
- It is recommended to use a hardened nozzle (hardened steel or similar), as carbon fibers are abrasive and quickly wear out brass nozzles.
- Keep the filament dry for the best surface quality.
- Good ventilation helps achieve more defined details.
📏 Ideal for:
✔ Testing new print profiles.
✔ Comparing different brands of PLA-CF.
✔ Showcasing your printer's quality.
✔ Getting a Benchy with a much more striking appearance than standard PLA.
. As always, I hope you like it :)
