Description

I was searching everywhere for a Ford EcoBoost/EcoBeast themed hitch plug and could never find exactly what I wanted. So, I took matters into my own hands and designed this entirely in TinkerCAD! It features my custom engraved "EcoBeast" logo and includes a functional, matching screw-in pin.

Best of all? This can print 100% support-free! (Though they are recommended!)

Fitment & Variations:

  • Designed to fit any standard 2-inch receiver (perfect for Ford F-150, Ranger, Explorer, etc.).
  • Two versions included: If you want a guaranteed flush fit on your specific bumper setup, I highly recommend printing the version without the lip but if you want a wraparound design give the lip a try! It just might not fit all trucks, I can confirm though it fits 2009-2014 F-150s

Crucial Print & Filament Tips (Learn from my mistake!):

  • Material Recommendation: I highly recommend printing the main body out of standard ASA for maximum UV and weather resistance.
  • Filament Warning: Avoid mixing high and low temp filaments for this print if your printer is prone to heat creep—I suffered a nasty extruder clog trying it!
  • Accents: I used PETG-HF (High Flow) in Red for the engraved accent logo, which gives it an awesome pop.
  • Infill/Walls: Use at least 3–4 walls and 25%+ infill for rugged outdoor durability and towing receiver strength.

Happy making! If you love the design, please drop a review, give it a download boost, and upload your print photos!
