Description
The Tornado Puncher is a real-life, highly experimental storm-chasing vehicle designed by Storm Damage Services (SDS), as well as a popular community icon frequently referenced in gaming culture and online video essays. Constructed on a modified K5 Chevy Blazer chassis, this armored, low-profile "mini-tank" was engineered for a single occupant to collect close-range scientific data and multi-angle video from directly inside a tornado. Because it lacked basic road safety features like turn signals, headlights, or side markers, it had to be registered as farm equipment and towed on a flatbed trailer to a deployment location immediately in front of an oncoming storm.
