A Wound in Reality

Before the city fell, there was only a single event that changed everything.

The Breach.

Deep beneath the shattered ruins, reality itself was torn apart by an ancient magical catastrophe. What began as a small dimensional fracture grew into an unstoppable rift, flooding the world with corruption, arcane energy, and creatures never meant to exist.

This portal is not a gateway.

It is the source.

Every ruined street, every collapsed tower, every monster roaming the wasteland exists because of The Breach.

The Origin of the Catastrophe

At the center of the terrain stands an ancient circular stone structure covered with forgotten runes. Long ago, powerful mages attempted to seal the dimensional wound and prevent the corruption from spreading.

They failed.

The runes remain carved into the stone as a reminder of that final desperate effort, while raw magical energy continues to pour into the world.

Emerging from the rift is a winged demon born directly from the anomaly itself. It is not guarding the portal—it is a manifestation of the Breach’s power, feeding on the dimensional storm while forcing its way into reality.
