The Siphoned Host - Skeletal Warband

When the Breach tore open the city, it did not shatter stone and tear down walls, it unraveled the essence of reality and life itself. At first, the threat seemed conventional. Disturbing creatures emerging from a wound between worlds. Soldiers and sorcerers were sent in under strict command, to secure, contain, and reclaim. 

But what they encountered was not an invasion. Men did not fall in battle, they faltered, husked bodies collapsing as something unseen siphoned their vitality. The dead did not rot. The fallen did not decay. They remained, intact, emptied, abandoned by whatever spark had once defined them.

Days later, figures emerged from the fog. At first mistaken for survivors, they bore familiar armor, carried familiar weapons, and marched in familiar formations. But there were no voices. No signs of life in hollow faces. 

They were remnants, soldiers and mages who had returned as hollow, dark reflections of themselves. Their life force had been siphoned away and replaced with something else: a cold, animating will, not their own. 

These skeletal warbands did not wander aimlessly as initially believed. Their patrols were measured. Their formations deliberate. Driven by a will greater than their own they now further a new agenda. What commands them is unknown, but evidence suggests a singular intelligence, referred to by scholars as The Greater Will.

Model Specifications

This model pack is scaled for boardgames, tabletops, TTRPG/RPGs and wargames of different types and consists of an assortment of skeletal soldiers, caster and ogre. All of these come with a standard base size of 28mm and model size adjusted for this. I have also tested the models with 25mm and 32mm base size, so feel free to adjust if you prefer this base size as standard. 

All models are thoroughly tested in different sizes and with different nozzles. The sample models are always printed in Bambu Lab PLA Basic, even though there are other filaments more fitting for miniatures. This is to make sure the model holds up with most filaments and nozzles. I really hope you enjoy it as much as we did!

Tips:

For a higher level of detail even with 0.4mm nozzle, you can activate “Variable Layer Height” for each model. 

In this sub-menu, you can choose to scale quality over speed and select a smoother finish. Maxing it for smoothness add some time to the printing process, but is usually well worth it.
