Weinsberg Pepper – Plug for forced ventilation

Description:

This plug has been specially developed for the forced ventilation openings on the entrance door of the Weinsberg Pepper special models. By inserting the stoppers while driving, annoying driving noises are significantly reduced.

⚠️ IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTE: The plugs must be removed when operating gas appliances in the motorhome! Therefore, it is strongly recommended to print the parts in a striking signal color (e.g. orange or neon yellow) so that they are not forgotten in the slot.

The idea for this plug originally comes from the forum my-pepper.de. I took up this great approach and developed my own version of the plugs.

Assembly & Instructions:

1. Simply print both parts (base and handle).
2. Glue a strip of the loop side of a hook-and-loop tape onto the base part (for better grip and optimal sealing).
3. Then place the handle onto the base part and firmly connect both parts with a drill screw (self-tapping screw) or some adhesive.

Print Recommendations:

• Material: PLA or PETG (any filament that is not too flexible works great).
• Infill: 20–30% is completely sufficient.
• Color: Definitely choose a signal color!

• This custom plug is specifically designed for the forced ventilation openings on the entrance door of Weinsberg Pepper motorhomes. Inserting these plugs while driving significantly reduces wind and road noise inside the cabin.

• ⚠️ CRITICAL SAFETY NOTE: These plugs must be removed whenever gas appliances are in use inside the camper! For safety reasons, it is highly recommended to print them in a bright signal color (like orange or neon yellow) so you don't forget to take them out.

• The original idea for this mod comes from the my-pepper.de community forum. I took that concept and developed my own optimized version.

• Assembly Instructions:

• Print both parts (the base and the handle).
• Stick a strip of the loop side (fuzzy side) of a hook-and-loop (Velcro) tape onto the base part for a snug fit and proper seal.
• Fit the handle onto the base and simply connect them using a self-tapping screw (drill screw) or strong glue.

• Print Settings Recommendations:

• Material: PLA or PETG (any rigid filament that isn’t too flexible works great).
• Infill: 20–30% is more than enough.
• Color: Highly recommended to use a bright, high-visibility color!
